4 MONTHS WAITING TODAY
Today marks our 4 month waiting mark. Today, four months ago, we turned in all of our paperwork to Ethiopia and officially became a waiting family. Most families in our agency are getting their referrals around month six. We are still hoping for a referral by Christmas. The past month has been amazing with the referrals of about 20 children. As for where we are on "the list," who knows.

Hi Elisa! Yep- we're right on the same schedule.... Four months ago today. Can you believe it???
We're waiting for a little one (or twins), either gender, up to 6 months.
I can't help but wonder how close our referrals will be. Please, dear Lord, let them be soon!!!

Happy four months! I just read your sweet comment. So sorry to hear about your Dad. I'll be praying for him and hoping your little Marley gets home real, real soon. I do know from experience (I was eight months pregnant with Kenny when I lost my Dad) that these little ones can be such a help during tough times. He pulled me through it and we have the most amazing bond because of it. I tell him all the time how much he helped his mama by just being born!
Ohh - and we are totally on for the summer picnic (if not before!).

Woo hoo to 4 months! It feels great to move up on the list.... I am laughing at your comment about Matthew running for president. What do you say to our boys running together! LOL..... Matthew.. phew.. hmmm all I can say is well. he has some big leadership qualities.. :)
