Elisa, I am so sorry for your loss. I can;t imagine this world without your dad. I knew him & worked with him in Charleston, SC. We worked together in the Navy Band Charleston. The base is closed now, and now he's gone, too. I've missed him and your mother ever since I left SC. I have so many memories of him. Whenever things would get tense at work, he'd have a quick quip or two to mutter just under his breath. I miss your mom's cooking, especially the lumpia. I miss the beautiful beaches, people, foods... Gee, I just made myself cry over memories. You made me cry, most of all, with that beautiful tribute. Give your mom my best...
